Connectivity and support from the educational institution showed somehow indirect factor of the student’s performance. The more the student felt the connection, the better the student performs and motivates to continuously engage in online learning.

What affects poor performance? The lack of self-focus and the sense of discipline highly contribute poor level of performance. In addition, online learning may provide a frail perception of the fundamental matter. Student who has a little concentration period or the powerlessness to self-govern their online activities can worsen the effectiveness of online learning. In effect, postgraduate student can successfully accomplish better performance compare to undergraduate’s online student because of capability of postgraduate students to spend quality time and well-focus study online.

Is the current trend of Online Courses mere tactical? No, because of rapid growth and consistent rise of online education starting 2007, most chief academic leaders/officials, faculty and student organizations must be perceived as important to consider in schools future programs. Online education is crucial for its continuing strategy.

Here are some tips: There’s a difference between attendance and participation│ To gain points for participation, you must be able to post 2 responses with substantial content to Discussion Questions (DQ) per day on separate days per week. You may answer a DQ or respond to classmates ideas to get it done in one session. For instance, answer a DQ today, reply to classmates the next day, reply again on the following day, and answer the final DQ on the last day. To gain points for attendance, you must post something in any forum on two separate days of the week. Here are some tips:

There’s a difference between attendance and participation│ To gain points for participation, you must be able to post 2 responses with substantial content to Discussion Questions (DQ) per day on separate days per week. You may answer a DQ or respond to classmates ideas to get it done in one session. For instance, answer a DQ today, reply to classmates the next day, reply again on the following day, and answer the final DQ on the last day.

To gain points for attendance, you must post something in any forum on two separate days of the week. There are times you are required to check in in the Chat Room forum. But answering DQs will save your attendance.

Ask a lot of questions│ If you can’t understand something, don’t be afraid to ask. There are counsellors and instructors that are willing to help you understand the syllabus or other concerns.

Have enough time to read│ Check the syllabus outline per week so you’ll get ahead of the assignments and chapters due. In this way, you won’t have to stay up all night trying to get caught of the entire chapter.

Take Workshops│ Online workshops are available for free to all students, take advantage of those. Basically, they run for three days but are not graded. These workshops subjects may range from Math to APA formatting.
